How It Works:

• Members of your organization save their Central Market register receipts with a “WE CARE” sticker affixed.
• Your members turn in these receipts to your organization's specified location.
• A representative from your organization turns in these receipts to Central Market .
• In turn, your organization will receive a check for 1% of the total receipts from Central Market! ** The more members of your organization who participate, the greater the check amount!

Collection baskets or boxes make it easy for members of your organization to turn in receipts and serve as a helpful reminder for them. A note in your bulletin or newsletter will help members remember to bring in receipts to your organization. Let us know if we can do anything to help your organization get the program up and running.

To participate, your organization must register for the “WE CARE” program with Central Market in Bismarck or Mandan. A representative from your organization can stop at the store and pick up an enrollment form or, if you prefer, we can mail one to you.

The guidelines for submission of receipts are as follows:

1. All receipts should be sorted and neatly grouped.

2. Fold receipts so they are 8-9” long.

3. Lay receipts flat.

4. Add receipts using the subtotal amount listed just above the sales tax.

5. Attach the adding machine tape to the receipts (groups of $500 to $1000 seem to be easy to handle.)

6. Add all groups to get a grand total.

7. Print full name of organization, and address on the adding machine tape.

8. All receipts should be in one package/envelope/bag if possible.

9. Receipts cannot be over one year old.

Checks are issued and mailed quarterly at the end of December, March, June, and September. Please turn in any receipts to be paid, by at least the third week of the month checks are issued. Good luck and thank you for participating in the WE CARE program!
